What this site collects

When you choose to use a form, Knox•Moor may collect information such as your name, email address, role, state or region, the situation or question you submit, and other information you choose to provide. Newsletter signup, Ask NHN, community nominations, supporter-interest forms and Work With Us intake each collect only the fields shown on that form.

How it is used

Submitted information is used to respond to requests, review questions and nominations, manage subscriber preferences, evaluate potential work, operate the website and improve Knox•Moor resources. A submission does not automatically become public content.

Private client workspaces

Approved Knox•Moor clients may receive invitation-only access to a private engagement record. That record may include assessments, plans, progress updates, next actions, resource links, acknowledgements, replies and service requests. Each client account is limited to engagements assigned to that account. Clients should still avoid placing medical, academic, financial or other highly sensitive records in free-text replies.

Alerts and device information

If you enable alerts, Knox•Moor stores a notification token for that device and the topics and states you choose, or the private client or owner alerts associated with the signed-in account. The token is used only to deliver requested operational alerts. Turning alerts off removes that device subscription.

Minors and sensitive information

Do not submit a minor's private medical, academic, disciplinary or other sensitive personal information through public-facing forms. Do not use Ask NHN or nomination forms to submit accusations about identifiable people. Knox•Moor may decline, redact or delete material that should not have been submitted.

Public Q&A and spotlights

Ask NHN provides a specific choice about whether a submitter's name may be published. Questions and nominations are reviewed before publication. Knox•Moor does not promise publication and may contact a submitter for clarification or permission before using submitted material publicly.

Outside services and links

This site links to outside governing bodies, publishers and platforms. Their privacy practices are their own. Inclusion in the Resource Desk does not create a partnership or endorsement.

Data handling

Website records are stored in systems used to operate Knox•Moor. Access to owner, editorial and client management areas is restricted. No internet service can promise absolute security, so Knox•Moor limits public collection and does not ask visitors to send highly sensitive information through these forms.
